Osome offers a smart, all-in-one software solution for business owners, handling all the routine tasks, like bookkeeping and invoicing, so entrepreneurs can focus on driving their business forward. In this project, we focused on making it easier and more effective for entrepreneurs to withdraw money from their company.

Osome:

The number of customers using the Payroll service is quite low

Accountants are under high pressure and facing an overload of tasks

Entrepreneurs (customers):

People are struggling with a lack of knowledge on how to legally withdraw funds from the company

There is a need for advice on how to withdraw and pay salaries to employees effectively

Through UX research, I tested the prototype with Osome users to validate our hypotheses. These interviews provided several valuable insights. Here are the most important ones:

Entrepreneurs often seek advice from experienced accountants or friends

They want to additionally check information on official government websites.

They prefer to thoroughly read information rather than watch short videos

In collaboration with the team and accountants, I prepared a JTBD (Jobs To Be Done) framework and a polished, seamless flow for withdrawing money from the company.

After discussions with the team and presentations to stakeholders, we defined the scope for the first release. I then prepared high-quality designs covering all aspects of the flow.
